LabelyPrint
Features

Everything a good label-printing tool needs.
Nothing more, nothing less.

LabelyPrint combines the visual editor, data sources, the Print Station and the Android mobile client into one ecosystem that talks to itself. Here is the full feature list — no rose-tinted glasses.

Label Designer

  • Drag-and-drop design with magnetic snapping to the grid, edges and neighbouring objects
  • Elements: text, rich text (RTF), barcode, image, line, rectangle, ellipse
  • Free rotation of elements — not just 90/180/270°, but any angle
  • Rulers in mm or inches; DPI is detected automatically from the selected printer
  • Dark and light themes, Czech / Slovak / English / German
  • Unlimited Undo/Redo, multi-select, alignment and distribution, keyboard shortcuts

Barcodes and 2D codes

  • EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ISBN
  • Code 128 (A/B/C), Code 39, Code 39 Extended (full ASCII), Code 93, ITF, ITF-14 (GTIN-14), Codabar
  • QR Code, DataMatrix (square or rectangular), Aztec, PDF417
  • GS1-128 and GS1 DataMatrix with automatic FNC1 insertion
  • MSI Modified Plessey, Plessey for legacy retail and library use
  • Check digits and encoding are handled by the engine — you only provide the data
  • Optional human-readable text under the code

Data sources

  • Excel .xlsx and CSV with auto-detected separator and encoding
  • SQL databases with your own query (connection string)
  • Serial counters with custom formats
  • Bulk print by selected rows with filters
  • Visual mapping of columns onto fields on the label
  • Preview the first row's values directly on the canvas

Printing and output

  • Any printer Windows can see — laser, inkjet, multifunction, network-shared
  • Direct printing to thermal Zebra printers over USB or TCP/IP (with extensions for OEM clones)
  • Print onto A4 sheets with pre-cut labels or directly onto thermal rolls
  • PDF with vector graphics and embedded fonts — for archival or external print shops
  • 1:1 print preview with verification of margins and bleed
  • Copy count, starting number, job repetition

Print Station

  • Separate application for production use, isolated from the editor
  • Template grid with previews, loaded from a folder you pick
  • Fill-and-print: the operator enters values and clicks Print
  • Barcode-reader input straight into the fields
  • Bulk print by selected rows from a data source
  • Templates remember their preferred printer — pre-selected automatically

Mobile client (Android)

  • Opens the same .lpx templates as the desktop Designer
  • Design and print from a phone or tablet, with Bluetooth printer support
  • Bluetooth printing for Zebra, Brother and OEM clones
  • PDF export and sharing via the system share sheet
  • Ideal for service technicians, field sales reps and mobile warehouses
  • Separate app on Google Play with its own pricing. Not included in the Windows licence.

Designer — tool palette, canvas, property panel

The main window follows the layout you know from graphics tools. Pick an element on the left, place it on the canvas, fine-tune properties on the right — position in millimetres, font, colour, rotation, data binding.

  • Rulers in millimetres or inches, grid with magnetic snapping
  • Data-bound fields preview with the real value from the first row
  • Alignment and distribution of the selection in a single click
  • Dark and light themes; language: Czech, Slovak, English, German

The properties of the selected element update in real time with changes on the canvas.

Print Station for operators

The second app in the bundle. Run it on the PC at the printer; the operator sees only what they need: tiles of approved templates, a form for variable fields and a big Print button.

  • Templates remember their preferred printer — the station pre-selects it on open
  • Barcode-reader input — behaves like a keyboard straight into the field
  • Filter and row selection on the data source for bulk printing
  • The operator sees only finished templates prepared in Designer — no edit access
Print Station — template grid and the variable-field screen
The operator picks a template, fills in fields and prints. No menu they could click into further.

Bulk printing from data

Plug in an Excel sheet, CSV or database, map columns to fields on the label and LabelyPrint prints as many labels as you have rows. The template previews with real first-row data, so you see exactly what comes out.

  • Filter and sort rows before starting the print job
  • Jump to a specific row for pre-print verification
  • Serial counters in any shape you need
  • Automatic date and number formatting per locale
Bulk printing — mapping Excel columns to fields on a label
Data-bound fields preview with values from the first row of the dataset.
Licence dialog — status, online + offline activation, token import
One-click online activation, or offline via .req/.lic — the app never talks to the cloud at runtime.
Security

Online and offline activation

At runtime LabelyPrint never phones home. Activation itself is a one-off: for most sites, just enter the key and e-mail and click Activate online — the token is issued and installed automatically. For air-gapped environments there's an offline path: the app generates a .req file, you upload it to the customer portal and download the signed .lic token.

  • RSA-2048 token signature (PSS, SHA-256)
  • Bound to MachineGuid, motherboard and CPU serial
  • New PC = a fresh online activation, or a new .req/.lic
  • A grace period after expiry so you don't lose printing over a weekend

Android client for printing in the field

For when you'd rather leave the laptop behind — service tech on a callout, sales rep at a client, mobile warehouse. The mobile client reads the same .lpx templates as desktop and prints them from a phone or tablet over Bluetooth.

  • Shared template format — what you design in Designer, you print from mobile
  • Bluetooth printing to thermal printers (Zebra, Brother, OEM clones supported)
  • PDF export and sharing via the system share sheet (email, Drive, WhatsApp…)
  • Useful for one-off labels printed away from the production floor

Heads-up on pricing: the mobile client is a separate app on Google Play and is sold separately. The Windows licence does not cover it, and vice versa.

The mobile client opens the same .lpx format as Designer and prints over Bluetooth.
